Granny Basketball

Remember the early days of women's basketball? The times when there were six players on a team and you could only dribble twice before you had to pass the ball? If you are a woman 50 years or over and interested in playing this form of basketball again, we want to talk to you.
There is currently a group of women who are seeking additional members for a team or two of Granny Basketball players from Faribault. (You might have seen a recent Daily News article on this program.) If you are considering being part of this group, call the Senior Center to put your name on an interest list. Team organizers will contact you with more information or answer your questions.
